Fir Tree Lodge [guest house]bed and breakast is located in stratton st margaret on the edge of Swindon, Built in the 1930's it has only ever expanded now offering 14 en suite rooms with a garden for guests use and parking for 13 cars. Recently installed CCTV monitoring system and fire alarm set ups.

Swindon is also enriched with Victorian parks and gardens, areas of extended woodlands, museums, galleries and centres of heritage like Lydiard House, an elegant Georgian abode set in rolling parkland.
There are a number of museums and heritage sites celebrating Swindon's industrial past and for anyone interested in buildings and architecture, the National Monuments Record Centre should not be missed.
